Review content:
If I could I would NOT give them any stars. I was a pass customer of Praxair for Oxygen. I had used them in 2007 and I believe they understood little about the condition (Cluster Headaches) which needs tanks of O2 and not compressors. I started out with tanks but they switched me over to the compressor at that time I didn't realize that if you have Cluster Headaches you need to have the tanks not the compressor and I didn't have great results once they change me over. but non the less they did deliver the Oxygen. I also had to call them and ask them to pick up the equipment once I was done with it only to be told that they didn't even know I had it.
This January I came out of remission and once again needed O2 so I promptly called Praxair with my script from my Doctor and was told they no longer supply O2 to Cluster Headache patients. I couldn't believe it. My Doctor wrote the script. It's standard procedure to use O2 at a high flow rate and I had good Insurance (the same insurance I had in 2007) and here is Praxair telling me that one they had no record of me being a pass customer and couldn't do anything for me. I told them I had a copy of the receipt. They then had another excuse as to why they would not supply the O2 blaming my Insurance company. I have Keystone East HMO and was pre approved. I asked them why they supplied the O2 in 2007 they told me that since then they changed their billing procedures. In the end they had no real reason as to why they would not comply with my Doctor's orders. Who are they to tell me that they were over riding my Doctor's orders.
I will never again use Praxair for my medical needs. My Doctor called Miller Medical & Respiratory and I had my Oxygen the next day.
