My first contact with Ray's Vacuum Center was extremely disappointing. This dealer is an authorized Hoover Service Center listed on the corporate website. Unfortunately, they would only accept my request for warranty repair when threatened with a complaint to Hoover. At that point they ""informed"" me that my upright would be in their shop for ""quite awhile"" before they would attempt to seek a remedy. They griped about the internal cost to their business for warranty work which the Hoover rep later told me via phone was not accurate. Corporate informed me warranty repairs do not cost the shop a cent. Please get any warranty agreements clearly explained before dealing with this shop.
