I have enjoyed going to the Pumkin Patch on Sauvie Island since I was 8. I still take my kids there now. The corn maize there is the best and the original on the Island. i would recommend going in fall when the apples are ready from local growers and the store is full. The corn is usually good and the pumkin hunting is better because you have thousands to choose from. The kids love the trip and its a nice change from the normal weekend activities.
Pros: good fun trip for families and fresh food buyers
Cons: low selection early summer but to be expected from a farmers market
