I think Mr. Web Wunderkind needs to look up from your computer screen and realize that you have chosen to live on a river! Your landlord can no more control what logs and debris float down the river and settle in front of your floating home than he could affect the weather. If you don't like your spot, request a different slip! It's as easy as that. Better yet, pick up a broom every once in a while.
