I just returned to the midwest from a visit to my daughter in Portland. Part of the trip was having a hamburger with her and her SO, my mother and my sister at Nob Hill. The burger and the beer I washed it down with were great. We all enjoyed our meals. The previous reviewer was right - they just don't get it. The food is good bar fare. Perhaps he or she was looking for something a little more snooty. You won't find ""snooty"" at Nob Hill. And if you want a great dessert, walk next door to Alotto Gelato.
