AARON'S FULL SERVICE MOVING & STORAGE (is now ""C & M Relocation Services""):
My family and I (unfortunately) used this company when we needed to move from Southern California to California's Central Coast.
We hired this company on the basis of their ""glossy, professional looking brochure magazine"" that was presented to us by their ""moving consultant"" Leo Kostka, and were ""led to believe"" that we were entrusting and hiring ""Wheaton WORLD-WIDE MOVING"" to handle our (lifetime) precious possessions.
Their brochure magazine assured us of Wheaton's ""professionalism and expertise""; that they were the ""Official Mover for STEINWAY + SONS Concert Pianos on tours throughout the United States and Canada,"" and assured by Mr. Kostka that he would be ""personally present"" during packing; etc., to ""supervise"" that ""all was done right.""
After signing with Mr. Kostka, the ""NIGHTMARE"" began.
On ""packing day,"" Mr. Kostka was ""nowhere"" to be found (he was never seen again).
The moving employees took every ""short-cut"" imaginable; using the ""cheapest; shabbiest"" packing materials possible (the packing materials pictured in the brochure were of the ""highest quality""); and doing so in the shortest; quickest amount of time (in other words, we were given ""the bum's rush"").
The moving employees were ""careless; sloppy and unprofessional,"" and they showed absolutely no ""care or respect"" for our possessions.
Almost ""ALL"" of our possessions were ""damaged""; the most ""severely damaged"" items being our ""heirloom"" wood furniture (deeply ""scraped and gouged"" with large pieces of wood missing); other severely damaged wood objects ""cracked and broken""; ceramic objects ""broken,"" metal/brass objects ""dented""; our large screen T.V.: ""scraped and gouged,"" some objects were ""lost,"" and some of my mother's ""heirloom"" indian turquoise jewelry ""disappeared.""
Our possessions were packed wrong; loaded wrong; transported ""a day late""; unloaded wrong, and to ""add insult to injury,"" their ""mean-spirited; abusive"" moving van driver ""Matt,"" ""disregarded"" our verbal instructions at ""unloading and transferring"" to the agreed upon ""2"" storage units, and (""behind our backs"") while we were in the storage facility business office, ""callously and selfishly""; ""jammed"" ALL of our possessions into ""1"" storage unit so that he and the other moving employees could be ""done and gone""; ""as soon as possible.""
In the days that followed, repeated calls to their ""operations manager"" Mark; ""owner"" Corky Weber, and ""moving consultant"" Leo Kostka were repeatedly ""ignored,"" and when we did manage to finally speak with ""owner"" Corky Weber and ops. manager ""Mark,"" they repeatedly ""hung-up"" on us.
Through ""persistence,"" we finally got them (through threats) to send a ""crew""of (their words); ""their best,"" to ""unjam"" our possessions from the ""1"" storage unit to the originally agreed upon ""2"" storage units.
We ""greatly regret,"" ""any and all"" involvement with this company because we did not receive one thing that we were ""sold"" in their ""glossy brochure magazine"" that they used to ""market"" their company ""services"" to us.
We suffered a great deal of ""anguish, heartache; grief and sorrow"" because of all of this.
This moving company turned what was to be a ""dream step forward"" into a ""HORRENDOUS NIGHTMARE"" of ""MATERIAL and FINANCIAL"" LOSS.
We were ""mis-led; lied to; victimized and generally taken advantage of"" by ""owner"" Corky Weber and his company.
