Businiess name:  Turco's Super Ranch

Review content:
When Turco's first opened it was fantastic. Unfortunately over the years, it still ""looks"" good but they seem to be taking some tricky shortcuts. For the last 3 or 4 times I bought their fresh fish, it was always presented as something it isn't. Examples: The ""cleaned"" shrimp which they charge more for, are not clean at all. I have to take it home and finish cleaning them. The prepared ""Fried Flounder"" is not flounder at all. The fish under the breading is gray and slimy, not white and flaky like ""flounder"" should be. Seemed more like the cheaper ""basa"" fish was used. Also this evening I purchased the rolled/stuffed sole. This was not ""sole"". Once again, this was the same gray, slimy fish as I've been disappointed with in the past. My husband threw it in the garbage. Also when purchasing steaks, they strategically place the price sticker over the plastic wrap covering large pieces of fat and gristle so that you cannot see the problem with the meat until you get home. It's just plain insulting! They obviously underestimate the intelligence of their customers. Hoping Fairway opens up in the area so that Turco's will try a little harder.
