Myself and 3 friends went to Hot Olives for lunch today and everything from the service to the food was awful. I had the Reuben sandwich which was barely toasted. Not even warm enough to melt the cheese. There was maybe a tablespoon of sauerkraut. The coleslaw was a tablespoon of red cabbage with barely enough dressing to moisten the cabbage. My one friend had the chicken and the bread was stale tasting so she tried to eat the chicken without the bread but it was so tough that she could cut it. She ordered coffee at the beginning of our meal but didn't receive it until we had all finished eating. Even after she asked the waitress if she was going to bring the coffee it didn't come for another 20 min. and then she said it tasted terrible. We didn't get offered refills on our water or iced tea. We sat patiently waiting for the waitress but she never returned to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything but did return to bring check. The friend that suggested we eat there couldn't apologize enough. We are all mad at ourselves for not speaking up when we were there.
Pros: nice atmosphere
Cons: terrible food
