I was BEYOND impressed with Gallippos, as they are the ONLY store I found in the Chicago, Toledo, Ann Arbor, and Southern New Hampshire areas which carry dresses IN STORE AND OFF THE RACK sized below an 8. I am a 4, and found a plethora of dresses available to try on, which made a HUGE difference. Besides desiring to buy off the rack to save money, it was amazing to see what a dress would actually look like on.
The prices were very reasonable, and the manager was open to negotiation.
I had my alterations done at Gallippo's as well, and yvonne did an excellent job. I had custom straps added to my dress made out of the hem fabric, and they came out fantastic. The bustle was gorgeous and the alterations as a whole were just great.
I would recommend Gallippo's to anyone, even over boutiques in the Chicago area.
