Who wants to pay $7 for a sandwich that gets mangled before it gets wrapped up??? It was not at a busy time in the restaurant, it was 1:30 on weekday when I visited. I ordered the footlong Chicken Cordon Bleu on Whole Wheat toasted with provolone cheese. The gal at the register rushed me to pay her while the sub was being toasted which I paid cash. As I finished up with that the girl took out the sub from the oven and proceeded with the veges. As she goes to wrap up the sub the bread splits in several places and the veges start falling out. I asked if I could have a different bread as I was not wanting a sub that would fall apart on me like that. It was obvious that the bread was not baked properly, I eat at Subway often but not this location and have not had this problem ever before so I felt I should ask for another bread. There were only me and the two worker gals in the place. The girl doing the sandwich acted as if I asked for the moon or something and started trying to put the sandwich makings into another piece of bread which was also falling apart. I said I did not want a falling apart sandwich and the cash resgister girl came over and started trying to put it in the 2nd bun making a worse mess of it. At that point I told her I did not want any sandwich and just wanted my money back. She hem hawed and pulled a little hissy and I assured her that I was not ""mad"" at her but that I did not want to pay that kind of money for that kind of mess. She appologized but at that point I just had had enough and left the store. It was obvious that the bread was not baked right. I won't be going back. I do LOVE the Subway at the Prince Street location. NEVER had a problem there. It's all about management!!!
