Review content:
There is alway an exhibit to view detailing some of the very interesting and entertaiing histiry of the Merced County area. We've had our share of highwaymen and heroes in the time of the California Gold Rush. Once desert, now Merced County grows much of the produce for the Country. Joaquin Murietta and Three Finger Jack are just a couple of the galoots that used to walk this ground. Merced was the Rip Raoring Town that had to be ""cleaned up"" when the Castle Air Base came here in the 1940's so those innocent boys would not be corrupted by this wide open town. Yahoooooo!
Pros: Centrally Located;
Cons: Parking can be difficult to find. You may be able to park next dor at the Library.
