Review content:
After a bad incident ~8 years ago at this restaurant, my husband and I finally returned recently to give Andiamos another try. This second experience confirmed that we won't return again. We were seated at a table that was directly opposite the front door on a very cold night. The draft each time the door was opened was chilling and made our seating arrangements uncomfortable. The hors de oeuvres we ordered (SMOKED SALMON PUGLIESE TOASTS) were very good, but a portion of the hors de oeuvres contained butter, in place of what should've been cream cheese. I don't know if this happened by accident in the kitchen, or whether they'd run out of cream cheese, but 1/2 way through the appetizer, we realized that the recipe wasn't quite right, and not nearly as good as the first 1/2 we tried. For the main course, the veal piccata was EXTREMELY fatty and contained a lot of gristle throughout the meat. It was awful, and a very poor cut of meat. The pasta that came on the side-dish tasted very similar to Spaghettios (we did not eat any of this). But, the vegies were delicious, and we ate every bite! All in all, we were very disappointed in the meal, and won't be visiting them again. The dining establishment itself is romantic and the wait staff was very attentive however, so we have zero complaints about that! Maybe if we had ordered something else on the menu, it would've been better... Pros: Ambience, Romantic, Quaint Cons: Poor Food Quality
