Review content:
We brought our car per Colorado Auto Body instructions in on a Monday and was told they would replace a bumper and it would be ready on Wednesday or Thursday the same week. We called them several times to find out when it would be ready and was told (when we called on Thursday) it would be ready Friday because the one they received did not fit our car. When we called Friday we were told it would not be ready before the weekend but it would be ready the following Wednesday. When we called Colorado Auto Body on Wednesday we were told the bumper cracked and it would be ready until Thursday. When we called Colorado Auto Body on Thursday we were told it would be ready by 3:30. When we arrived to pick it up at 4:30 on Thursday (a half hour drive one way for us) our care wasn't ready and we were told two stories. The first one was there wasn't a driver to deliver it from their repair shop to the satelite shop and then was told the paint wasn't dry. They finally delivered the car to our house on Friday afternoon (after having the car for 10 days rather than 2).
You may see the pattern of Colorado Auto Body not calling us and us having to call them. We thought their service, especially Don at the Aurora satelite shop, did a terrible job on letting us know what was going on. He didn't even call us to tell us our car wasn't ready so as to save us a trip to their shop when he had given us a time the day day before when we could pick it up. We had even called him that Thursday to make sure it would be ready.
RESPONSE FROM Colorado Auto Body:
Hi Mike,
We did have delay issues with your vehicle. We kept receiving defective parts that had to be returned and reordered.. This went on and on. We reduced your bill as a result of the delays. We sincerely apologise for all the delays and communication problems. The representative was not the regular person that would of been or should of been contacting you and this was our fault for not turning your repair over to the customer service professionals that we staff. If you have any concerns or issues still with the final product and quality please contact Bill at the shop. I am the owner and i will personally get involved to make sure you are fully satisfied with everything.
