Review content:
This place is adorable. I can see how it's not for everyone, though. I think the last reviewer put it perfectly when he said you'll either think it's quaint and intimate in it's surround, or cramped and claustrophobic. I, obviously, fall in the former category. I'm totally won over by the authentic 50's-type feel to the place, which doesn't have the kitchy over-the-top feel that some diner's have. In keeping with this, they somehow they manage to get the cutest little cat's-eyeglass-wearing-type waitresses around, so if you're in need of eye-candy, this place'll give you your fix. It's been said before, but the french toast is unbelievable. Unfreaking unbelievable. Also, their sweet potato fries are delish (though not as good as Monk's), and their omlette's are fantastic (esp the spanish-themed one...forget the name). You will be waiting, though, if you come on the weekends, but they call you when you're ready to be seated, which is awesome because you're right in the heart of the Italian Market, allowing you to sample all sort of pre-brunch deliciousness in the surrounding Italian deli stores.
Pros: stuffed french toast, omelettes, sweet potato frieds
Cons: long waits for weekend brunch
