Once in a Lifetyme Bridal in Tempe is an EXCELLENT choice for your formalwear needs. I got my wedding dress there, and I also had my dress and my daughter's flower girl dress altered there. I believe in supporting the local economy, and this little mom-and-pop shop is an excellent place to do just that. They are certified distributers of Maggie Sottero gowns, and they really know their stuff. They were very helpful to me in all things wedding-day-attire related. They were also very fun to work with. Instead of acting like I was a burden to them, coming in without an appointment, they were excited to help me find exactly what I wanted. I could not say the same for larger stores, such as David's. They also had a better selection to choose from. The larger stores have more ""stuff"", but most of it is junk, and associates are typically not as committed to their customers. The staff at Once in a Lifetyme Bridal was kind, courteous, patient, insightful and just plain fun. Their seamstress is also amazing. She was skilled and knowledgeable, and she even made a last minute adjustment to my gown for me, free of charge! Once in a Lifetyme Bridal is a great vendor, and I highly recommend them.
