My wife and I went to this place on a Friday night because we had just finished work nearby and were starving. We were promptly seated at 6:15pm and ignored for about 10 minutes even though there were at least 6 servers in the place and upwards of 15 empty tables; no water, drink order - nothing. When the server came over (""have you been helped yet?""), he took our complete order. The drinks came out fast and tasted good: the wine list was short but felt complete and the cocktails were fun and tasty. After that we waited 30 minutes during which time no one came over to check on us. We noticed people who had been seated after us had already finished their entrees. We flagged down our server and asked him what was going on, he said sorry and 5 more minutes. We ordered another round. 10 minutes later the guy comes back and tells my wife she has to pick her vegetables again because of a mistake in the kitchen, but the would comp us a dessert. The food was not great, especially for the prices. I would rather any place in Chinatown over this overcooked mess of vegetables and dry as a bone chicken. My wife's dish was cooked in a hurry so all the onions were practically raw. Since we couldn't get out of there fast enough we asked them to comp us a round rather than wait around another 30 minutes for dessert. I have been to this place once before for cocktails and it was fine- the bar staff seem to have it down, but don't bother ordering from the kitchen. Serious disappointment. I'm telling you take an extra 10 minutes to walk down to Arirang House or take the train to Chinatown. Anything is better than Betty's.
