Review content:
The menu is diverse. They provide enough choices but not too many to overwhelm. The portion sizes for the entrees were generous (meaning just right) for a fine dining experience.
We had the sea scallops on braised pork belly and raddichio for an appetizer. Very good start to an excellent meal.
My wife had the North Atlantic Skate Wing (Stingray) w/grits and asparagus. The fish was delicate but not fishy. It was perfect.
I had the Pork Tenderloin glazed with molasses served w/apple and walnut relish and sweet potato souffle. We also shared side of braised greens mac and cheese (made with sharp cheddar).
We shared the coconut creme pie for dessert. The taste was good but the portion small. The waiter could have helped us make a better selection since we had never been there.
This is definitely a restaurant we would return to. We had a great overall experience. 5 stars.
Pros: Excellent food, thoughtful service
Cons: Noisy, too mant tables in small space, small desserts
