It was okay living there. But since moving out, I've contacted the leasing office over 10 times trying to get my security deposit back, but they are always giving me the run-around. I'm one step away from pursuing legal action against them. 6 months after moving out, I still don't have a check from them yet. Excuses included: manager is not in and only she can deal with this, there's someone who's checking with the corporate office right now, looks like the check we sent out never cleared, we didn't have your new address on file, and of course.... the check should be on its way. There is no question that they owe me a check because they even wrote me a letter itemizing the deductions for cleaning the apartment and told me how much they owed me. So if you're thinking about renting here, consider the security deposit as a sunk cost. You'll never get it back if you run into a situation like mine. Pros: Quiet, nice landscaping Cons: if you don't have a dedicated parking spot, you won't have parking, forget about getting your security deposit back
