My husband is Japanese and he has grown up with truly authentic sushi, so he's hard to please - but he loves this place, and so does his entire family. My mother-in-law is even going to have them cater her New Year's Day Feast, which is a very big deal in Japanese familes. (Usually you have to make everything yourself for these feasts, but my mother-in-law really loves the food here). We have eaten here at least 40 or 50 times since this restaurant opened, and we are never, ever disappointed. We bring everyone we can here, and whether or not they were sushi fans going in, they certain were coming out! There are dishes that will appeal to everyone. Service is prompt, but since it is a small place, it's not really good for large groups unless you don't mind waiting a bit for tables to become available. It is bright and the decor is cute, but it is not a romantic spot. DEFINITELY try the Luxury Shrimp appetizer. Oh, it's so good we usually have to order a couple of them because evryone at the table keeps wanting more. Portions in general are quite generous and prices are not only fair, they are low for this kind of quality and freshness. Pros: Excellent fresh food at really good prices
