Businiess name:  McDonald's

Review content:
McDonald's has been a wonderful part of my life since childhood. I have eat there, played there, had birthday parties there and worked there for many years. Time has gone by and I have carried on our wonderful McDonald's experience on to my kids. I told them what a wonderful place to work. They applied and got no reply. I went to that same McDonald's on White Bluff in Savannah, GA and was served by a man who could not help me with my order because he did not speak a word of english. I think this is going too far when this McDonalds can not help the growing children in our own community but will hire a non-speaking, unable to service properly person. Why did my kids not get the job? They are more capable of this position so why was he hired over them???? The hiring manager has gone far beyond their position in helping the hispanics... this McDonald's is well known for hiring hispanics and helping their cause which is ok but this is too far. He spoke not a word of english and could not serve us properly. Is this fair?? Why hire a non-english speaking person, (obviously not from around her) over smart capable american born and bread young adults also struggling to get jobs?????? PS...I still love McDonald's but I felt I had to boycott this one until I could get over my issue. Pros: excellant food Cons: hiring ethics
