Review content:
I have lived a lot of places in my life and I've lived in a couple of apartment complexes but out of all of them, living in Stone Ridge Apartments was absolutely, without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had. It seems like every single week there is a letter on the door from management complaining/threatening something new. ""Don't hang towels from your balcony."" ""Don't leave cigarette butts outside your apartment or you will be charged a $25 fee."" ""If you leave a bag of trash on your patio you will be charged $25 a day until it's removed."" I had a shelf outside that I was painting for a while and they left me a note saying that the shelf couldn't be out there. If you live here, you are ONLY allowed to have Charter cable and for most people I don't think I need to go into why that is so horrible. I've never had a good experience with Charter. I waited six months and called six times and Charter still never brought me a moxi box, so when I canceled my cable and had to keep my internet, they charge me an extra $10 a month for NOT having cable. The security guard takes his ""authority"" way too seriously and will call the police on you if your TV is too loud. I have no neighbor on one side of me and the neighbor on the other side works third shift. I had some people over on Friday night and sure enough, at 11:30 he comes knockin on my door telling us to quiet down. As nice as I could be, I said ""Ok sorry about that, we will. Thank you."" As soon as I shut the door he pulled out his phone to call the police. Which was completely unnecessary and downright rude. I bet I've never had one neighbor actually complain about me and yet he is still allowed to call the police on me. I was getting in my car one day and the security guard happened to be walking by and yelled at me to turn the music down IN MY CAR. I feel like I'm living in freakin prison and I can't wait to get out of this place. Pros: Nothing to outweigh the negative. Cons: Overzealous security guard, Charter Cable, Harrassing letters, Constant inspections
