Review content:
This place was great until they messed up which is when I realized they have absolutely no customer service and very little ability to admit wrong doing. I took in several items for cleaning and when I went to pick them up I was told that my one dress wasn't ready yet. When I went back the next day I was told they tried to remove a spot and inadvertently removed color and the dress was pretty much ruined. i was told to bring in my receipt for the dress and I could get a refund. I said ok and asked for the dress back (I figured I could re-purpose the fabric somehow - the dress was sentimental). I was told they'd have to ask the owner because they couldn't really pay for my dress and give it to me. Huh? You ruined it! Why can't I get it back? The whole ordeal took 2 phone conversations and 5 (FIVE!) total trips to the cleaners before I got my dress back and my refund. I had to argue with the owner for quite a while insisting I wanted money - not store credit. Why the heck would I want $50 in credit to this place that ruined my dress AND displayed horrible customer service?! I will never, ever go back after how rudely I was treated and how dismissive they were. They could have saved my business had they just handled their mistake correctly from the beginning. Instead they lost me and I have made a point to tell every single person I know to avoid them. You should too. And as for the previous reviewer's comment about paying in advance - my review is an example of why not to do that.
