Review content:
Like most ""authentic"" restaurants, this one was good several years ago when it was new and trying to impress. It didn't take long for this restaurant to rest on its laurels and forget about its partons. The quality of meat - the main dish at a Persian restaurant - has diminished and is now dry and rubbery without much flavor. But most important, that feeling of being welcomed by a host - a key ingredient in Persian culture as well as independent restaurant culture - has been replaced by a busy and careless arrogance. They don't care if you loved the food or not. They don't care about telling you that they don't take reservations but then save large tables for special guests while you sit and wait for thirty minutes. They don't care if their careless Valet staff dings up your car and then says ""Prove to me that it wasn't like that when you got here."" They just don't care. There are still independently run restaurants in LA where the owners care about their customers' comfort and satisfaction. Raffi's is no longer one of those places.
Pros: Decent Appetizers
Cons: Everthing Else
