We had a HORRIBLE experience with K&A Construction, owned by Ken Ngo and Amy Chan.
We asked for a bathroom reconstruction and we received a bathroom nightmare! Our shower stall was installed incorrectly. Not only does it leak, the plumbing is faulty and the walls behind the shower are not waterproof. In addition, the tiling was completed with grout that needs to be redone, and they left the place a complete mess!!
We were told not to go into our bathroom 3 days until the grout had set (to give them time to cash our check). We have tried to contact Ken Ngo and Amy Chan by phone, email, and text. However, they refuse to return any of our messages. All we want from Ken and Amy is for them to stand behind their work and to repair the bathroom so it can become usable.
They were also asked to install a fire-rated door from our garage to our kitchen. The door they installed is NOT fire-rated at all and it was not installed properly. We can see our garage from the inside of our kitchen. Needless to say we are very upset and disappointed, especially since now we have to rehire a different and competent / honest contractor to redo what was already paid for.
We would not recommend K&A Construction, owned by Ken Ngo and Amy Chan to our worst enemy. Hire them at your own risk!!
