I lived in Oaktree apartments for 9 months. The landlord had asked for 300 dollars for security deposit. When I moved out, the landlord said she would return the deposit within a month. I left the house in the perfect condition and very clean. After one month, I called the landlord and asked for the deposit refund, she said she would send it immediately. Then another 15 days passed and I called her again, this time I received it but she cut 60 dollars off without telling me anything. She is not to be trsuted, I was confident I would get the full refund, since I am very meticulous myself.I find her behavior very unethical, she simply stole 60 dollars of my deposit money and gave me no explanation. The apartment did not even have to be cleaned. If you move to oaktree do not expect Calixto Hernandez (the landlady) to return your deposit in the full amount no matter how perfect you leave the apartment...
