You know I should have known when the inspector showed up. He was 20 minutes late, I took off work to be present, so I gave up an extra 1/2 of pay that day. The guy that showed up was not the person pictured on a roof in the listing. Matter of fact he did not get on the roof and the roof is a shallow pitch. I was told that it was not a requirement. I thought well maybe things will get better, I was wrong. Like in the other reviews I felt like I was paying for the inspector to smoke, talk on the phone and stand around. After closing and moving in I found numerous problems that I got stuck paying for, because they were missed during the inspection. One of the reasons I went with this Company is that the inspector also trains home inspectors, I thought well he must be really good. Again I was wrong, you know that old saying ""those that can't do Coach"" ? Well that seems to apply in this situation. I could go on and on about the report taking along time to get, missing obvious defects and wasting my time, but you live and learn. Don't make the same mistakes I did. Call around, get references and ask questions. One question I have is way would you show a man standing on a roof and imply it was the inspector ? Then the inspector doesn't even attempt to get on the roof. Oh yea I did have 3 torm shingles that cost me after closing, insult to injury.
