my daughter used the winery for her wedding and reception. the place was beautiful and very well kept, however, at the end of the night, when all the fun had been had and everyone was so tired and ready to go home, my new son-in-law went in to pay them them $1500 that he owed (as contracted on an earlier date). They were told at that time that the entire bill was now at $3400!!!! HOW!!!! HOW in the world can it be double the cost they were quoted. And then to top it all off, the lady who had been taking care of business all night was upstairs and would not even come down to talk to us about the extra charges. She was busy babysitting! ok, you have someone you are telling they owe you $2000 more than you had quoted them and you're too busy babysitting to come down stairs to discuss this?? We were shell shocked, amazed and confused. The people did a great job with the food and everything, but i'm sure if my daughter and her new husband knew it was going to cost them $2000 more than they thought it was, they would have chosen to go somewhere else for the wedding. Thanks for a memorable evening and I don't mean in a good way!
