I contracted with Avi Meir in November of 2011 to build custom doors, cabinets and walk in closets for my new renovation in Manhattan. He promised delivery of the entire job by the middle of February 2012. After taking a 50% deposit, he started working but every week was like pulling teeth with him. He wanted more money every week without delivering much of the work. He constantly lied about what work had been completed but always had an excuse for not being able to deliver it – traffic, wife’s pregnant, brother had a baby, car stopped working, etc. I have paid him over $90,000. By April 2012, he had stopped responding to me and my attorneys, had all his employees leave him because he was bouncing their paychecks, and (probably) started cheating over new clients he found on the internet. As of May, 2012 – I have had to redo most of the work he did eventually provide (less than 50% of what he had been paid for) using other contractors. I have since found 2 more of his clients that he cheated out of tens of thousands of dollars. He finds his clients from a variety of websites such as Etsy , ServiceMagic , Custommade. and others. He seems to cheat all of his clients in one way or another. His business – Green Solutions Enterprises LLC is only 2 years old while he has been in business for 16 years or more. He used to go by Meir Design before. God knows what other names he has used. But it is obvious each of his new business names last until he gets a bad enough rap with that name and then he simply “changes names”. BEWARE of this thief!\r

Avi Meir Mossiyov of Green Design, Green Solutions LLC,handmadefurnituredesign dot com and listed here at custommade dot com/by/greendesign signed a contract for $60,000 which subsequently was amended to almost $80K + expenses, has left the project unfinished and is no longer responding to me or my attorneys. His work was never finished, he lied about finishing work to get milestone payments from me and has not started or finished over $50,000 worth of work. He delayed my move back into my renovated loft in NYC, cost me thousands additionally, overcharged me and caused an amazing amount of stress. Now I am suing him and am writing this review to prevent other people from falling prey to his business practices. \r
In addition to work I had to redo and finish that he left unfinished the following work that was NEVER DONE as agreed:\r
1. Elevator panel covering 2 elevators and stairwell\r
2. Guest closet in front of elevator\r
3. Pocket door for and finishing wall around storage closet near stairwell\r
4. Office wall unit including queen size Murphy bed\r
5. Closet door in maid’s bedroom\r
6. Panel or door covering water heater in laundry room\r
7. Replacement of warped door to master bedroom\r
8. Fixing damaged door to my son’s bedroom\r
9. Sanding and finishing (or replacing) pocket door to guest bathroom\r
10. Installing all jams and trims in guest bathroom door\r
11. Building and installing the 40 ft window box in front of the apartment\r
12. Cutting the door of the laundry room at the bottom so it operates properly\r
