Review content:
Expecting good things, the overall dining experience was disappointing. The Margherita & Sweet/Hot Peppers with homemade sausage pizzas were excellent as was the Pappardelle alla Bolognese. However, that's where the good times ended. The service was stiff & indifferent. The Alla Pizzaiolo was ordered on the recommendation of our server and it was unusual and ornate, to say the least. As this is the diner's chance to experience the creativity of the chef, our chef that evening must have had his Christmas list in mind as we received oblong slices of zuccini, mint leaves and cherry tomatoes reminiscent of a Christmas tree ornanment and tasting just about as bland. The wine list is overpriced for a pizza joint with the prices beginning at $33 for a bottle of red. One would assume there might be a house wine suitable for drinking for less. We will definitely think twice before returning.
Pros: Standard pizzas, Pappardelle
Cons: Wine list, Service, Alla Pizzaiolo
