Review content:
To be fair I will say the staff is nice and friendly however I do not like how the practice is run to squeeze the most money out of the client.
We used to live in Austin and my son had braces before and didn't need any major work. We were told by his dentist in Austin it could take about 18 months. Well to our suprise he was only in them for 12 months!!! His appointments were exactly 4 weeks apart and if something happened where he lost a bracket or it was poking him the dentist had him come in and took care of him immediately.
Well, we moved to Katy about 2 years ago and my daughter was at the age of need braces. Again no major work just a small overbite we were looking to correct. Clear choice told us 12 months but each visit they would schedule here an ENTIRE 6 weeks between visits so it was taking much longer and 12 months were fast approaching and barely any progress. There were times when she would loose a bracket and we would call and the staff would say ""Oh it's no big deal, those brackets aren't important."" Well I figure if they aren't that important you wouldn't have put them on in the first place and if they aren't needed then why are you making me pay for it?
Speaking with other friends who have children with braces who also have their appointments about 4 weeks apart and maybe 5 depending on the severity of the work is very upsetting to me that they would schedule her visits so far apart and refuse to see her when her wires are popping out and poking her. She will be in pain and I feel as though I had to practically beg them to see her.
Basically they will only see you twice in three months and bill you and your insurance for three months. I don't find that fair and honest at all especially if my daughter needs assistance in between time and they are always so reluctant to see her.
