Businiess name:  Applebee's

Review content:
My family and friends have tried to like this Applebee's. We've come on different days, different times, and at different times of the year. And it is always a bad experience. Either the food is terrible, over cooked steaks, sour chicken, tasteless side items, or the service is dreadful - not being seen by a server for over twenty minutes, getting no refills, having our food brought to us and then never seeing the server again. If that's not it, then the management is worse! A manager came around to check on us, which is apparently Applebee's policy, and my sister asked if something could be done about the temperature, it was so hot that we were sweating and she was having a hard time breathing. We live in Florida, even when it's cold its not that freezing. We were wearing t-shirts and jeans. He scowled at her for a few seconds before offering to seat her outside because everyone else was cold. We said no, we don't want to eat outside with the dreadful view of the parking lot and the bank next door, we just wanted to see if maybe it could be bumped down to something cooler, or a fan turned on. He told us we must not be very hot then, and walked away. The server, who was excellent that night, looked on horrified! She even apologized for him. We asked for to-go boxes, paid our bill and left. We haven't been back since. I avoid this place at all costs.
