Businiess name:  AA Marina Chiropractic Dr. Greg Fecht

Review content:
Dr. Greg may be a very good Chiropractor but when it comes to his billing practices, I'd consider twice going to him. Being new to my insurance I trusted that Dr. Fecht would be honest about how he and Blue Shield worked together. He asked me to pay upfront $150 for my 1st visit and that this payment would go towards my deductible for BS. He said that once billing was processed, any overage in payment (if any) would be refunded. I was in pain and needing to go to another appointment right after, that even though I wasn't convinced I wrote the check and trusted that all would be well. After reviewing my insurance claim, I saw that my payment should have only been $45.55 (the $150 would not be going to my deductible). I contacted BS so I could explain what happened and get advice, they immediately sent out a letter asking Dr. Fecht to refund the over payment. He sent BS a new claim for the same date with a new amount. I called my BS rep to help me out with this thinking that if the doctor is billing clients this way, something was wrong. She contacted both BS and Dr.fecht on a conference call and the response from the Dr. was ""if BS reimburses me for the full $150 amount then I'll refund the client back her money - or she can come in for two more visits"". I'm not comfortable nor do I want to visit this doctor again. It's been a few months and I'm still waiting on a resolution.
