Businiess name:  Amelie

Review content:
I like to shop and love good clothes. Amelie is a fun store, but I felt cheated when I asked two sales people about a further reduction on sale items one day. They said there would be no further reductions. It was definitely a good sale, but I decided to pass on this one top. When I went back in just three days later, deciding that I wanted the top after all, that very top WAS marked down futher. I asked about this and instead of saying, ""Sorry we told you something that turned out not to be true"", I was told, ""It's only 10%, just $6"". I love boutiques and I try to support local stores, but deceptive salespeople or policies and a lack of empathy at Amelie are going to make me think twice before shopping there again. It also gives mom and pop stores a bad name and drives consumers to the big retails stores - which have a policy of refunding you the difference on an item within two weeks of a further drop in price. Remember: It Pays To Wait!! (If you're willing to lose the size you need). Pros: Nice merchandise Cons: Expensive
