My hubby and I went to Johnny's one afternoon for lunch. It wasn't very crowded. We orderded the special (2 slices and a drink) and sat back to wait. And wait we did! After 45 minutes, we left $ on the table for our drinks and walked out. Not only did we have to wait an inordinant amount of time, but the waitress never came over to apologize for the wait. The cook was in a foul mood and was slamming things all over the kitchen. That's one thing in a closed kitchen, but something entirely different in an open kitchen such as Johnny's has. He got two orders wrong while we were waiting and made our to-go order before he made our lunch! I well realize that that could have been a bad day for them; but this is not the first time we have had to wait too long or had an order made incorrectly. It will be the last time we have to worry about a wait there, as this is the last chance we are willing to give them.
