Review content:
I used to work at another eye center in NYC that did the cutting procedure LASIK and the MDs there did not specialize in laser vision correction. This center did the older LASIK procedure and I noticed that many patients had complications and also were coming back for enhancements. Finally, when I decided to have the laser surgery I decided to go with a center that did the latest non-cutting LASEK. It was because of my background and knowledge of the medical eye field that I chose surgeon Dr. Chynn. He is the only one of about six in Manhattan that only does laser vision correction and the only surgeon in NYC that only does LASEK. I felt comfortable going to a super-specialized center with an expert in the non-cutting procedure. I figured I only have one set of eyes I want the best, most qualified person for the job. I also had a pretty high RX, two times legally blind, but now I seeing better than 20/20! I have no dry eyes because they did not cut a flap in my eyes unlike my brother who had the old cutting procedure 3 years ago and still suffers from dry eyes daily. I chose to have Epi-LASEK with HIGH DEFINATION which is the top of the line package and as a result I recovered in 3 days and had absolutely no discomfort. I was also able to drive at night for the first time in my life without glare or halos! Pros: Only Non-Cutting Center Only doing LASEK Cons: Small Waiting Area
