We had this terrible experience in Mehfil today.I am an Indian food blogger and has reviewed many restaurants in Redmond-Bellevue area.4 of us went for dinner on saturday evening and ordered a Biriyani and tikka masala and some rotis..I was aghast to find out that the portion they served was about half of what they used to serve before..A very teeny tiny kadai of tikka masala and about 2 ladles of biriyani which is just enough for one person.We called up the person who looked like the manager and told them our concern and instead of acknowledging it he was trying to prove that the portions were same as like before.Afterwards as we had no option we ordered an extra chicken vindaloo and rotis for take out.To our utter dismay,the vindaloo was just chicken in some Chilli powder solution,deep red and tasting like plain chilli water..We had to throw out the entire thing out in fear of upset tummies.
THIS PLACE REALLY SUCKS!! service wise,taste wise and portion wise..Please do avoid this place,there are some great indian places out there in Bellevue if you are looking for one..!
