Review content:
I've eaten at the Barnacle twice during the past year on two separate visits to Marblehead. We sat inside once and outside once. On both visits, the service was great -- very friendly and attentive waitresses. On both visits, the view was great -- inside seats look out windows at the bay, and outdoor seats on the deck are the perfect spot to enjoy nice summer weather by the water. Most importantly, on both visits, the food was excellent. The first time (for dinner) I had scallops, which were fresh and delicious. The second time (for lunch) I had fried butterfly shrimp with cole slaw and fries, and it was some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had. For seafood in Marblehead, I haven't found anywhere better! For more on the Barnacle, Marblehead, and the road trip that took me there, check out my trip blog, ""A Mini & A Map.""
