Review content:
I find Alpha Bakery's baked goods to be excellent, and although I've never tried the sandwiches they look great. The only complaint I have about this little bakery is the service-and I am hoping it was just a fluke. I stopped in this morning after running an emergency errand to get a snack--I ran out of the house so fast, I threw on a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt to keep the september morning at bay. SO perhaps I was a little ""under-dressed"" for the woman behind the counter at Alpha Bakery, who refused to look at me the entire time she dealt with my order, and after I took the time to count out the change she turned to her co-worker without a word to me (not even ""Thanks"" or ""Have a nice day"") and announced loudly ""You have to check all the twenties, too, to make sure they aren't counterfeit. The banks sometimes hand them out and they don't know.""
Pros: baked goods
Cons: the surly brunette behind the counter
