After seven long years on the west coast, I drove into Philly. one think on my mind... Dalessandro's... Unfortunatly, I did not get there right away. Imitations on the west coast compare to the mediocre attempts of other steak shops. They can be good, but nothing compares to the true and pure.... Dalessandro's. I got my cheesesteak before retuning to San Diego, I wear my Dalessandro's T-shirt with pride out here and hope that it wont be 7 more years until I get the real deal again!
Pros: true to the old style, consistant product, damn good!
Cons: parking, seating (always busy)
