I recently switched primary doctors to Dr. Cortes after feeling brushed aside from my previous doctor. Dr. Cortes listens to all my concerns and does not just brush them aside. He performs a thorough initial exam and tries to accumulate all important family history. Unlike many doctors who just have you fill out forms, Dr. Cortes asks questions. He truly wants to understand all aspects of your health and he does not trivialize small things. He also tries to explain everything in layman's terms. All test are gone over to make sure the patient understand what was been studied. I highly recommend Dr. Cortes, as he has changed my outlook on doctors.
Pros: excellent bedside manner, very thorough and compassionate, easy to schedule appt.
Cons: as with most doctor's you usually have to wait some time before being seen
