Review content:
Our son was at this daycare for nearly a year before we received a phone call from Maria, the owner, that we had two weeks to find our son a new daycare.
We were informed that our son was ""very bright"" and as a consequence would become bored and disruptive; requiring too much attention from the teachers. When we asked if we could move him to the 3 yr class she informed us that he wasn't ""emotionally mature enough"".
Regardless, we never received any notice of behavioral issues or areas where he needed improvement. Everyday when we picked him up they said ""he had a good day"". We were completely dumbfounded. Now granted there could be a communication issue since neither my wife and I speak Spanish and many of the care providers had a limited proficiency with English.
Then to add insult to injury, Maria completely forgot about our meeting to discuss our son's disposition and behavior. My wife and I both took off from work for this appointment only to be stood-up. Very unprofessional.
It's clear that this daycare has very little concern for the children they care for. If they did, then they would have provided us with more feedback, a plan for addressing any issues and adequate time to find a new daycare for our son.
Lastly, this is not an inexpensive daycare, so if you want to: pay $975/month, $100/semester for participation fees, provide classroom snacks (up to two times a month) for 14 children (plus daily lunch for your child), arrange your work schedule around the local school vacation schedule (so in essence you pay for 12 calender months but you get less than 11 months of daycare each year) for a program that doesn't assist with potty training, provides absolutely no feedback and can drop your child like a hot potato whenever they see fit...then this is your place.
