I went after 10:30 pm on a Thursday night. The place was still loud and full of people. I can't imagine what it must be like on a Friday/Saturday during normal dinner hours. I ordered two
items off of their sushi menu -- they were Excellent!! Truly. I love sushi and I eat it when I travel to cities all over the country. The sushi I had last night at Chino Latino was better than
anything else I've had in Minneapolis. It was not typical/ordinary stuff. The two items were
both original and extremely tasty (e.g., spicy mango shrimp caterpillar roll). Look at the other reviews -- most are 10 or 3. I'll bet it depends on when you get to the restaurant. If you don't want to wait, go late on a weekday. Obviously, people love this place or it wouldn't be so crowded all the time!!
Pros: best sushi, fun atmosphere, hip young crowd
Cons: very noisy, usually very crowded
