Review content:
Had flooring installed within the last month. Overall finished product is good, but service was poor. Owner came out to measure floor, everything seemed good. Day one of installation, they failed to bring all the flooring materials out with them, didn't know anything about a border (the owner and I had discussed this and it was in the quote I received) and then said the owner hadn't ordered the flooring for the border. The owner later told me matter of factly that the workers apparently hadn't read the work order and that the wood had been ordered. No apology for the fact that the workers didn't know what they were supposed to install. They left early in the afternoon, with work left to be done, saying they would return at 8 AM the next day. Day 2, they arrive at 9 AM, no apology for being late, then ran short on border material and had to order more. They had to spend a couple of hours fixing boards that were defective and that never should have been installed in the first place. I had to point outthe obvious defects to the workers. A job that should have taken 1 1/2 days then spread into a third day. This was an issue because we had to take off work to be home. They came after 6 pm on the third day, and the owner said he was doing me a favor by having them come out after hours. The owner took no responsibility for the fact that his workers did not know what they were supposed to be doing, did not show up when they said they would, installed defective boards and then had to spend time replacing those boards, and that he, the owner, did nto measure the room correctly and either did not order the right materials when he should have or did not order enough material. The end product is alright, but I would not recommend having this company install flooring in your house.
