Review content:
We took our daughter for her 18th birthday on a Sat night. We wanted something fun & decided to try it. It was not very crowded, service was good. We had not been there before so the waitress was very helpful with making food choices about the confusing menu. We had thought you would just dip your food choices in different fondues, but actually the appetizer was a cheese fondue with apples, breads and a couple of raw vegies. There was salad, and the main course was brought to the table raw and you cooked it for several minutes in hot oil. We really didn't like that we had to cook our own food. Our daughter and her friend shared a burner with a fondue and the other 4 of us shared a fondue and burner. Our food did not cook as well as our daughter's. We mentioned that to our waitress and she said that with more then two people it really didn't cook as well. The dessert was good. It was chocolate turtle fondue sauce served with bananas, strawberries, tiny pieces of pound cake, 4 marshmellows, 1 tiny cheesecake slice, a rice krispie treat & 2 tiny pieces of brownie. We really didn't get that much food for the price. The bill came to $450.00. There were 6 of us. My husband & I had a glass of wine, one person had water, the other 3 had ice tea. The food is very small & portioned for couples. Our 20 year old son left afterwards to go meet his friends to go eat another dinner. We chalked it up to a dining experience but will not go back. The chocolate bar is much better. We could have had a much better meal for the price at our favorite 5 star steakhouse with a couple bottles of wine. I do not see them surviving the economy at their current prices.
Pros: Several Choices for food, huge wine list
Cons: Small portions, very expensive, not recommended for children or large groups
