Review content:
I can't say enough about this place or the experience of getting my hair done there.... It was excellent! From start to finish my time at the Argyle was wonderful. Everyone that works there, especially Nelly Mollison (my Stylist) is very pleasant and professional, which I might add is refreshing for such an in demand salon located in Los Angeles. Ok so I'm getting off track, the reason for this review is to tell you why I went in the first place... the Brazilian Blowout, my new found love! I wanted to write this review a day or two after my first Brazilian Blowout as I, like many of you curly haired mavens out there, find it hard to believe that anything could actually make your unruly curls ""silky smooth"" without damage or that stiff-like-fake feeling you get from Japanese strengtheners (which I speak of from experience). Oh yeah, all you girls with difficult wavy/frizzy straight hair; you better listen up as well b/c the Brazilian Blowout shows no discrimination, so your life can now be easier and more manageable as well. I have never in my life been able to jump out of the shower and dry my hair in 5 minutes flat to find that I have achieved the same results as a salon styled blowout. My gawd... has this saved my life (sorry for the dramatics peeps) but really it has. I hate having to do my hair, especially in the summer months... ugh, there's nothing worse than finishing your own blowout and feeling like you need to shower again b/c you just broke a sweat flat ironing your hair. This 4th of July was the real test, as my now lushes locks held up against the dreaded June Gloom, water balloon fights and beach air. I was no longer the girl running to the bathroom to try and pat down my fro, or the girl who says ""to hell with it"" and let it run wild, resulting in my BF laughing at me calling me the Flying Tomato, and that's not b/c I'm a redhead, only b/c that kid, like the old me, has wildly beastly hair. Nope, I have great hair now, shiny frizz-free hair, hair that received many compliments for its length and brilliance. I for the first time in my life was THAT girl (you know what I'm talking about). In all honestly though, I can't say enough about the Brazilian Blowout and how's it's changed my life. Please, contact Nelly for your Brazilian Blowout, as she truly is amazing; a real talent, she was recently voted number 2 by California Magazine as being one of the Top 10 Stylist in LA for the Brazilian Blowout. Hope this review helps and maybe I'll see you there during my next BB ;) Pros: Great service, professional, clean and relaxing Cons: Nnoe
