So, I went to the Argyle salon and spa on sunset yesterday(sat) The salon was very comfortable and laid back unlike other salons in hwood that I've been to. Alec Kara was my stylist and he was very nice and professional. I'm of mixed race, black and portueguese so my hair is very thick and course and really curly at the roots and straight at the ends due to over flat ironing. Alec works on ethnic hair so my hair didn't at all catch him by surprise and he went right in and knew exactly what he was doing. I paid $450 I think due to my thickness because my appt was at 10 and I was done at like 12. I left the salon feeling wonderful and with straight and super soft, shiny hair, even other stylist came over to me when I was leaving wanting to feel my hair and telling me how amazing it looked. I would tell anyone with mixed/ethnic hair to go see Alec, I really believe he's the only one out here that can get the jobe done, I love my hair and I still have body to it and it feels and looks so healthy!
