The St. Regis is the grand new spot to be. With the closing of the Dining Room at The Ritz Carlton, Paces 88 is in line to become the replacement. Of course it's stunning with Oriental Rugs covering dark wood floors, and French Doors opening to an outside dining patio. We started with appetizers of Roasted Artichoke Bisque, drizzled with Olive Oil. And also Seared Foie Gras,with a drizzle of Roasted Figs, that had been toasted and caramalized. Pure heaven. My companion had Diver Scallops w/artichokes, fava beans, and confit of lemon. She loved it. And my Gulf Red Snapper w/gnocchi, English peas, and wild mushrooms was outstanding! Top knotch service was professional and courteous. And now a nod, from Esquire Magazine, as one of the top new restaurants in the country. Just pure class!
