What is there to say about In-N-Out that hasn't already been said? The family owned and operated burger chain is the exemplification of the mantra ""Do one thing, and do it well."" The In-N-Out hamburger is one thing the West Coast (particularly California) could brag about, and where anyone else would not have an answer. To have a hamburger made consistently well and be so accessible in California is merely a dream in other places. In-N-Out's tried and true combination of fresh produce, fresh sponge buns, and delicious ground beef patties in tandem with what many consider the best french fries ever made (in-store cut potatoes fried in cholestrol-free vegetable oil) have made it a mainstay in the Californian's diet. When you visit California, there is only one kind of fast food chain hamburger that is acceptable, and that is the In-N-Out hamburger.
