In the past few months I have gone to Kikugawa a few times and I have been extremely disappointed by the horrendous service and poor quality fish. I heard that they have recently attained new ownership and it shows, very poorly. Our most recent experience assured that I will never eat there again. We waited an HOUR AND A HALF for our meal (sushi), didn't even get our sashimi appetizer until then. Worst of all, we were served the very end tough bits of tuna steak in our sashimi that should have been thrown out by any decent sushi chef. They admitted this was the last of the tuna, but it NEVER should have been served. It was disgusting that they tried to pass this as if we wouldn't notice. The rest of the sushi was mediocre. I am a huge sushi fan, but I will never eat here again.
