Review content:
Okay. I went into this place with an open mind after my sister tells me how horrible the mice are kept. When I went in about a month ago I was horrified. I can not understand how a person can really think that treating animals this way is okay. They keep about twenty to thirty mice in a bottom to a cat's litter box. They are stuffed on top of two inch high pine shavings. There is about an inch of room between the top of the pine shavings and the bottom of the chicken wire of the top of the litter box. They are nice enough to at least give the mice food though. But what do you know it's on top of the chicken wire. The mice have to spend minutes just trying to chistle off a little piece of food just so they can eat. On top of this there were many cages that animals had been in that had not been cleaned out. There were spider webs in most as well as left over skin from shedding. So, my sister and I called the Citrus Heights animal police and tried to get something done about this. After about two weeks I went back in to see if anything had changed. Nothing had been done. In fact things were even worse. Instead of just the mice this time there was a cage that was so upsetting I had to just walk out. In this cage was a dead, I repeat DEAD, taranchula that you could tell had been there for at least a week maybe more. You could tell this by the fact that it had completely dried so much that its legs were actually crumpling off of its body. This place is terrible. Please if you love animals, which you do if you shop here, please go somewhere else. Somewhere that takes care of their animals. This is not a place to support. It just isn't fair.
Pros: You can of course by all the reptiles you want.
Cons: They might die in a week or two.
